Writing
Fiction is where I work out how a story holds together. It is the same instinct as the analysis work: find the structure, then make it readable.

A novel in progress
A full-length novel built around six main characters, exploring metafiction, psychological complexity, perspective, truth, and an underlying philosophical question.
Six narrators means six versions of the same events, and the book is mostly interested in the gaps between them — what a person leaves out, and whether the reader is being told the truth.
The title, synopsis, and any excerpt will be published only when I am ready to share them.
Where else my work has gone
Submitted — not published
Three poems submitted to Rattle. A submission is not an acceptance or a publication, and I am listing it here only as part of how I am working.
I am listing this as a process note rather than a credit, because submitting to a magazine and being published in one are two different things.
Reading samples
I have not published any of my fiction or poetry here yet. When a piece is finished and I am happy for it to be read, it will appear on this page in full rather than as an extract taken out of context.
